Meet BUSY BODY, September’s Roaster’s Choice, and our coffee for people with places to go, things to do and absolutely no intention of sitting this one out.
September always feels like somebody suddenly hits the throttle. Summer’s winding down, everyone’s back in motion and suddenly there are places to go, people to see and things worth getting after. So we figured we’d make a coffee that can keep up.
At the heart of this organic blend is a remarkable natural-process coffee from Sulawesi, Indonesia, grown in volcanic loam at high elevation. We pair it with a smooth organic South American coffee to build out the chocolatey foundation and bring everything together.
The result? The three C’s: Cola. Cherry. Chocolate.
We’re roasting BUSY BODY to a medium, giving the fruit enough room to do its thing while keeping the cup round, sweet and ridiculously drinkable. There’s a sweet cola-like character, juicy cherry and plenty of chocolate underneath it all. Interesting enough for the coffee nerds, easy enough for everybody else. Because coffee can be serious without taking itself so seriously.
It’s also a BUSY BODY itself. Pour over? Yep. Espresso? Absolutely. Cold brew? Get after it. This one doesn’t like sitting around either.
So wherever September takes you, bring BUSY BODY (maybe your Busy Buddy?) along for the ride. Try something new. Make something. Go somewhere. Get after that thing you’ve been meaning to do.
