THREE GENERATIONS OF COFFEE ROASTING IN A CUP

Our story began in Vietnam, when Grandpa Tang mastered the art of coffee roasting during the French colonial era. His dedication led to the family’s first coffee shop, where he passed his expertise on to the next generation. In the 1980s, Papa Tang brought that tradition to Anaheim, CA in America, sharing the bold, rich flavors of Vietnamese coffee. In 2016, Amy Tang carried the family legacy forward and founded Owlverick’s Coffee, blending heritage roasting methods with a modern, maverick spirit.

THE ‘OWLVERICK’S’ NAME

Our name “OWLVERICK’S” reflects the balance of wisdom and boldness: the thoughtful insight of an OWL and the fearless drive of a MAVERICK (a charging horse). It guides us to honor tradition while consistently pursuing excellence.
